Criteria for Coverage
Need a prescription and chart notes.PRESCRIPTION/STANDING ORDER
- Your doctor will send over a prescription for a nebulizer and supplies.
CHART NOTES
- These are the notes that your doctor makes during your visit in order to document your symptoms and need for a nebulizer. These notes are faxed over to Kohll’s Rx.
Once we have both documents (prescription and chart notes), we will verify your insurance, calculate your payments (if any), and call you when your nebulizer is ready.Â

- In order to optimize your nebulizer use, you will need to replace your supplies often. Below is the timeline for reordering your supplies.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
- At the end of each treatment, wash the medicine cup and mask/mouthpiece in warm, soapy water using a mild detergent. Let all the pieces air dry in a cool, dry area until the next use.
- Once a week, deep clean the medicine cup and mask/mouthpiece in a white vinegar and water solution for 30 minutes. Let all the pieces air dry in a cool, dry area until the next use.
- Clean the surface of the nebulizer and the outside of the tubing with a soapy cloth or a disinfectant wipe frequently. The nebulizer and tubing should never be submerged in water.
